In an effort to tidy our home, I am collecting Costco Milk Boxes! So all of you Costco lovers out there, let me know if you have a box to spare and I will come pick it up, or bring it to church!!

Piano Lessons Available!

Our ward's own talented Jenn Myers is offering piano lessons!

One half-hour lesson a week per student for $45 a month. For more information, contact Jenn at 602.273.1343 (home). Jenn has been playing the piano since she was very young and is incredibly talented. She has great teaching experience and is a wonderful asset to our ward. Wed: 10-12 Play Group at Laveen Village Park 31st Ave & Vineyard

Wed: 7pm Basic Home Organization-Primary Room @ the Church

Fri: 10:30-12 Lunch @ Angie's Bring your lunch and your kids and learn all Angie's tricks of rotating, storing & using food storage!! (if you would like whole wheat ground in her awesome wheat buster, bring that as well) 2616 W. Summerside Rd. 268-4891

Fri: 6:30pm Find a fun costume, bring some candy & join us for our Frightfully Fun Halloween Fest! We will have ghoulishly ghostly games, costume contests, a haunted house & trick or treating of course!!

Basic Home Organization

Jackie Malone is our Basic Homemaking Leader. She is having a special activity on Wednesday to learn basic home organization.

It will be at the Church at 7:00 p.m.

Scrappin

We are having scrapbook night THIS THURSDAY NIGHT at my house. 7PM. Iwill have my house CLEAN, TABLES set up, and a yummy TREAT made. Print your photos, get your stuff ready, and bring your projects, scrappy or otherwise, and I'll see you here. I've got a million supplies/stamps/etc to borrow, plus lots of ideas to help you along with whatever you're working on. (That isn't always the case with my own projects, but always withothers'. Sigh...)

What did you learn at Conference?

My favorite talk about about how much are you willing to pay to receive the blessing of the Holy Ghost. The more you are willing to pay the better the relationship you will have with the Holy Ghost. Do you do your visiting teaching because you feel obligated or do you do your visiting teaching because you genuinely love our Heavenly Father's children? Makes you go hmmmmmm.
