Super Saturday

We would like any of you that send drinks in the foil pouches (Capri Sun, Kool-aid Jammers, etc.)with your kids in their lunches to start saving the pouches. You can give them to me (Jayme Harlow) if your collection gets too big. They are for an up-cycling craft for Super Saturday in October.
Thank You!

Super Saturday

We are looking forward to our upcoming Super Saturday in October. We have some ideas, but would like to know what sorts of things you sisters would like to do. Please share your ideas with us.

Temple Trip

As a Relief Society, we are planning a trip to the Temple on August 20.

We have the opportunity to do baptisms, initiatory, or attend a session. Because there is another group coming from Tucson that morning, we will need to be there early.

The plan is to meet at the church at 6:45am so we can be at the Temple at 7:30am for baptisms and the 8am session.

I know this will be an uplifting experience for all who attend.

Ward Activity

The Ward will be having a Pioneer-themed activity on August 13 from 10am-12:30pm at the church.

There will be some fun games, followed by lunch.

Please be sure to invite the sisters you visit teach. We hope everyone can come, it should be a lot of fun!

B.O.O.T. Camp

This is going to be a great opportunity to strengthen our testimonies! We hope everyone will be able to attend. If you can't come for the entire conference, please come to what you can.

We'd like to get an idea of how many to plan for, so if you are interested, please let us know by commenting on this post, or "enlisting" at church (we'll have sign-ups).

Stake Women's Conference

Phoenix Stake Women’s Conference

I Can Do Hard Things

Humanitarian Project Phase 1 (now through December)

As part of our Stake Women's Conference, we are partnering with Dress For Success to provide job interview clothing for women living in shelters.

Please donate articles you don't wear anymore that are appropriate to wear to a job interview (e.g. dress pants, blazers, appropriate shoes, handbags). There is a demand for plus sizes.

You can bring items to church on Sunday or drop them by the home of Rebekah Mickelson or any member of the Presidency and we will get them where they need to go.

It's time to clean out those closets!
